Open_GApps

Most of the Custom ROMs, don’t have Google Apps to reduce ROM size & to allow the user to Install what they require. Each GApps package will include Play, Camera, Keyboard, Gmail and much more. Of course, if you have the Play store, along with obligatory Play Services, you’ll have access to the entire catalogue of Google content whether it’s apps, music, movies, books and more. Due to licensing restrictions, these apps cannot come pre-installed with CyanogenMod and must be installed separately.

Which Platform to choose

All these below given Gapps have DPI-optimized support for all Google packages (unlike other GApps). If you have 64-bit device, select ARM64. If you have a Zenfone device, select x86. Most of the devices today are 32 bit. You can install the Gapps package by clearing Dalvik cache & flashing the Gapps zip from your custom recovery like TWRP, CWM etc.

  • ARM64 ??? For 64-bit devices.
  • ARM ??? For 32-bit devices.
  • x86 ??? Intel smartphones like Zenfones etc.
